Notes From The Edge sessions in March
I'm really excited about the concert at the Ford Amphitheatre this summer, and equally as excited about recording the CD. Kathy Fisher and I have been talking about this project for a long time now, and it's a thrill for it to be finally materializing. This week I finished string arrangements of Imogen Heap's "Hide and Seek" and The Killer's "Mr. Brightside", and we are scheduling recording sessions for those pieces in early March with Peggy Baldwin and the quartet. Next up is a great Tom Waits tune, and possibly one from Smashing Pumpkins. Not your typical classical-crossover CD - that's for certain. Check out "No Surprises" and "Peace Love & Understanding" on the jukebox player on the "Notes from the Edge" page of this website. Not available for downloads, but you can enjoy the streaming versions until we release the CD. We'll be posting more as we finish them. Be sure to save the date June 15th - it's going to be a great show!
